The winners of this year's staff awards were announced at an event at Kingsholm Stadium, Gloucester on November 7th 2012.

The winners were as follows:

Excellence in Improving Safety

Will Carr and Zoe Spencer their exceptional ability and enthusiasm in falls prevention, leading to a reduction in inpatient falls.

Excellence in Improving Working Lives

Phoebe Bianchi and the 'Did you know' team for improvements to communication and working practices in pharmacy.

Excellence in Clinical Care

The ANP Night Team who work tirelessly to deliver the highest standard of care, sharing their knowledge and experience with staff throughout the Trust.

Excellence in Quality & Effiiciency 

A joint award for the Learning & Development and Business Intelligence Teams.

The Katherine Felix Award

Jan Joseph for the immense contribution she has made to the chronic pain service.

Kindness & Respect 

Stephanie Tea for her calm attitude and for treating every patient as an individual.

The Patient's Choice

Lorna Brick, nominated by patients  as an example of nursing at its very best.
