Information for Patients
These pages should provide all the information you need to make your stay in one of our hospitals as comfortable and pleasant as possible. If you have any further questions or worries about your stay, please do not hesitate to contact the ward mentioned in your admission letter. Find out more about our Wards and Departments. The staff there will be pleased to help you. Information that is specific to your ward will be provided separately.
To read more about the Trust visit our About Us pages.
Smoke Free Hospital
Smoking is not allowed on the hospital’s premises. In line with smoke free legislation, we have a no smoking policy. Please do not put yourself and others at risk by smoking anywhere in the hospital or on hospital grounds.
For advice on how to stop smoking, speak to your GP or contact the Gloucestershire Smoking Advice Service (GSAS) on 08454 220 040.
Cotswold Hospital Radio - The Patient Station
Cotswold Hospital Radio has been broadcasting for over 35 years and is run by a group of dedicated volunteers. It is normally found on Channel 9 of your bedside radio and broadcasts 24 hours a day. There is a live broadcast each evening at eight o’clock and the radio volunteers can often be seen collecting patient music requests from the wards at Gloucester and Cheltenham hospitals.
Many broadcasts are pre-recorded with quiet music at night and a livelier selection though the day. Visit the Cotswold Hospital Radio website for more information or read the Cotswold Hospital Radio Smile Magazine.
