New Parking Tariffs
Parking tariffs for patients and visitors at our hospitals will be increasing on 1st April 2013. This is in line with inflation.
Parking charges cover the true cost of Vinci Park managing car parking on our sites and the building of the multi-storey car park at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital to meet capacity demand.
The charges are in line with other car parks in Gloucester and Cheltenham, which discourages people who are not visiting our hospitals from parking in our car parks inappropriately.
Some patients, including those having chemotherapy and dialysis, qualify for exemptions and reductions in parking charges. Weekly and fortnightly permits are also available to patients who fall into a number of categories. Full details are available on our website.
There continues to be a 20 minute grace facility for ambulance, public and disabled drop-off/pick-up.
