Treatment

1st line:

Doxycycline 100 mg bd PO for 7 days

 

Alternatives:

If poor compliance:           Azithromycin 1g PO stat dose

 

If pregnant:                        Erythromycin 500 mg PO qds for 7 day
                                            OR
                                            Erythromycin 500 mg PO bd for 14 days
