British Orthopaedic Association recognised Specialist Fellowship in Knee Surgery under Mr Ian Forster in Nottingham, and Mr Tim Wilton in Derby. (2003-2004)
Malkin Prize Travelling Fellowships (2001 and 2004).
The first to Gothenburg, Sweden. This was under Henrich Malchau and Mats Brittberg looking at the role of Autologous Cartilage Implantation (ACI), The Swedish Joint Registry and prosthesis design.
The second Travelling Fellowship was to the USA, under Kelly Vince MD (Los Angeles), Richard Berger MD(Chicago) and Donald Reilly MD (Boston). This was to expand his knowledge and skills in minimally invasive and revision knee replacements, and computer aided surgery.
