Undergraduate training in Cambridge. Postgraduate training in London. Previously a lecturer at The Royal London Hospital and Senior Registrar at St Mary’s Hospital. I was appointed in Gloucester in 1995 and have specialist accreditation in general medicine, infectious diseases and gastroenterology.

With my colleagues we aim to provide a quality service for the local population, preserving ties with the community hospitals wherever possible. 

Inpatient and Day Case Services

 All patients requiring an overnight stay in Hospital under the care of Prof. Brown will be admitted to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.
