Dr. Candish underwent his undergraduate training at Cambridge before pursuing further general medical experience in East Anglia. He underwent Oncology training in London at the Royal Marsden, in Bristol, and in Cheltenham before taking up a Fellowship in Radiation Oncology at the British Columbia Cancer Agency in Vancouver, Canada.
He was appointed as a consultant in Clinical Oncology in 2004.
Dr Candish’s clinical interests include the management of sarcomas, upper gastrointestinal malignancies and lung cancer.
