I qualified in medicine from University College London, also obtaining an honours degree in clinical psychology. Following postgraduate training in London I did my specialist oncology training in Oxford and Cambridge. This included a period of research in breast cancer leading to an MD from London University.
I have been a consultant in oncology since 1995. I specialise in treating women with breast and gynaecological cancer. I also enjoy teaching and have an interest in teaching communication skills.
