Inpatient Services

All Dermatology patients requiring an overnight stay in Hospital will be admitted to Ward 9B at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.

A full range of Dermatology Procedures, including: - Excision, curettage, shave/pare, biopsy of all skin lesions/ tumours/cysts, including simple flaps for larger facial procedures Botox for axillary hyperhidrosis (armpit sweating) Adcortyl injection/ infiltration (steroid injections to keloid scars etc) Skin scrapes/ swabs for fungal/ bacterial/ viral infection Needling cysts and milia Hyfrecation of telangiectasias/ spider naevi (blood vessel blemishes) Cryotherapy (liquid nitrogen freezing) of warts, keratoses, and other small (benign) tumours
