Dr Saha was an undergraduate at Trinity College, Cambridge, and went on to complete his training at St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London Hospital. His PhD was funded by the British Heart Foundation, and was undertaken at the Rayne Institute at St Thomas’ Hospital, London. His research involved investigating cardiac stem cells and their relationship with remote ischaemic preconditioning. He trained in coronary angioplasty at St Thomas’ Hospital in London, the Sussex Cardiac centre in Brighton, and the London Chest hospital.
Dr Saha is a consultant cardiologist specialising in the investigation and treatment of ischaemic heart (coronary) disease, in particular coronary angioplasty and stent insertion. However he deals with all aspects of general adult heart disease.

Cardiology patients requiring an overnight stay in Hospital under the care of Dr. Saha may be admitted to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital or Cheltenham General Hospital following a procedure.
