Rosacea
Rosacea is a common inflammatory condition affecting the face and presents with papules, pustules , erythema and telangiectasia. Flushing is a common symptom and /or precursor of this disease.
Tetracyclines are the best treatment which may have to be continued for many months, or even years

Noritate Cream
Contain Metronidazole but are of limited benefit alone. They are more effective in combination with systemic measures.
Alternatives
Doxycycline, Lymecycline, Oxytetracycline
Minocin MR (beware pigmentation in long term use)
Erythromycin
Metranidazole (2-4 weeks)
For severe and Tetracycline resistant rosacea, a referral for Isotretinoin (Roaccutane) is worth considering. It can be very effective in the low dose of 10-20 mg per day.
Rhinophyma
A complication of long standing rosacea.
