Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy is a healthcare profession concerned with helping people to fulfil their potential in daily activities following illness or accident, helping them to return to everyday life. Day to day activities are those valued by each individual and may be beneficial to health and wellbeing, such as work, leisure and self care activities.

Should you be referred to an Occupational Therapist within Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, you will be offered specialist assessment and they will ensure your rehabilitation needs are met.

All Occupational Therapists working in the Trust are registered with the Health Professions Council, the regulatory body for Allied Health Professionals.
