Palliative Medicine
The Specialist Palliative Care Team offers specialist care where needed to people affected by potentially life threatening illness, their families, friends and carers from initial diagnosis through active treatment and during the palliative phase.
Outpatient Services
The Department provides the following Outpatient Services:
- General Palliative Medicine Service
There are three palliative care consultants who lead a team of specialist doctors and nurses. As a patient you may be seen by the clinician or by a doctor or nurse within his/her team. The clinician has overall responsibilty for your care.
Cheltenham General Hospital
Outpatient Clinics take place in West Block Outpatients.
Gloucestershire Royal Hospital
Outpatient Clinics take place in Beacon House.
Sue Ryder Care, Leckhampton Court, Cheltenham
Cotswold Care Day Hospice, Minchinhampton, Stroud
Great Oaks Day Hospice, Coleford
