Introduction

The aim of the Gloucestershire stoma care service is to provide a responsive, supportive and comprehensive specialist nursing service throughout the county to patients, including children, who require stoma formation ie a Colostomy, Ileostomy, Urostomy or Internal Ileo-anal pouch.

1st Tuesday of each month: 1pm- 3.30pm

3rd Tuesday of each month: 9am to 12pm

Bowbridge outpatient clinic, Stroud General Hospital

2nd Wednesday each month: 9am- 12.30pm

Stoma Care Department Cheltenham General Hospital

Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays by appointment

Outpatients Department, Cirencester Hospital 

4th Tuesday each month: 8.30am-12.30pm

Outpatient Department, Tewkesbury Hospital 

1st Tuesday each month 8am-12.30pm

Outpatient Department, North Cotswolds Hospital 

3rd Friday each month: 9am-12.30pm

If you experience any problems or have concerns please telephone the stoma care department to arrange a clinic appointment between 8am and 4pm Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays). If you are unable to attend your appointment, please contact the department so your appointment can be offered to another patient, and to rearrange your appointment. In many instances we may be able to answer your query over the phone, where we are unable to resolve concerns we will arrange a clinic appointment.
