Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is the medical speciality which combines surgical training with dental expertise for the treatment of diseases, injuries, tumours and deformities of the mouth, jaws and face.

Our department provides services to the population of Gloucestershire and parts of neighbouring counties.

Patients are referred to the department from both medical and dental practitioners. We also receive patient referrals from the county's two Emergency Departments if the individual has suffered facial trauma including broken jaws, cheekbones and facial lacerations.
