Honorary contract
It is in the interest of F2 doctors to ensure that you have an honorary contract with the Surgery as you are undertaking home visits. Without the honorary contract you will not be covered legally.
Travel
F2 Doctors can claim for travel from your base (Cheltenham General Hospital or Gloucestershire Royal Hospital) to the Surgery less your normal travel to work - home to base. You can also claim from the Surgery to the Education Centre’s (Redwood or Sandford) and return if you are returning to the Surgery or if you are returning home the mileage would be zero.
The Trust cannot pay travel for home visits that you make from the Surgery, these claims will need to be made direct with the Surgery.
