Contact library staff to receive a weekly Occupational Therapy email bulletin which provides details of new research published in the top 5 quality journals as well as details of any relevant articles published in The Lancet, BMJ, NEJM, JAMA and Cochrane Reviews.
Useful Websites
OTdirect - is an independent site for Occupational Therapists, OT Assistants and OT Students, produced by OTs in their spare time. It aims to provide not only links to useful resources on the web, but study notes, practice updates and training listings.
BAOT/COT - The British Association and College of Occupational Therapists aims to provide a clear identity for all its members through the provision of the highest standard of expert, professional opinion and advice informed by research, scholarship, innovation and the promotion of excellence in practice.
OTseeker - is a database that contains abstracts of systematic reviews and randomised controlled trials relevant to occupational therapy. Trials have been critically appraised and rated to assist you to evaluate their validity and interpretability.
European Network of Occupational Therapy in Higher Education - encourages lifelong learning in OT. Site includes details of webcasts, conferences etc.
