Transport Services are part of the Estates and Facilities Division and have offices at both Gloucestershire Royal Hospital and Cheltenham General Hospital.

 

The Transport Service undertakes the collection/transportation and delivery of logistical goods for the Trust.

 

Services Provided

The Transport Service provided is to serve both Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Gloucestershire NHS with transport that meets the needs of the service.  Currently vehicles routinely go to: 

 

• Bristol (twice a day Monday to Friday inclusive)

                        Leaves Trust at 10.30am

                        Leaves Trust at 2.30pm

• Hereford (once a day Monday to Friday inclusive)

                        Leaves Cheltenahm General Hospital (CGH) at 11.30am

• Worcester (once a day Monday to Friday inclusive)

                        Leaves Cheltenham General Hospital at 11.30am  

• Moreton-in-Marsh Hospital - leaves CGH at 10.30am

• Bourton-on-the-Water Hospital -  leaves CGH at 10.30am 

• Tewkesbury Hospital - leaves CGH at 10.30 am /leaves GRH at 3pm

• Stroud General Hospital - leaves GRH at 9.45am / leaves GRH at 2.15pm

Our Staff

The Service operates between 8:30am and 6pm Monday to Friday inclusive. Any ad-hoc transport tasks should be referred to the Transport Manager.

This Service employs 12 Staff and represents part of the Trusts solution to logistical transport.
