The Procurement Shared Service provides advice and guidance, contract and supply chain services. There are several teams within the service and these are as follows:

Goods and services under this team will also cover corporate requirements, such as furniture or auditing services, as well as more specific department based requirements.
Buying team
The Buying team (part of the Supply Chain team) provides the interface between the user departments and the supplying organisations; sourcing ad-hoc items, processing requisitions and expediting purchases.
Materials teams
There are two teams of materials personnel (part of the Supply Chain Team) based at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital and Cheltenham General Hospital who manage the incoming deliveries into Receipt & Distribution as well as the replenishment of ward supplies to these two hospitals and Cirencester Hospital.
