Reward and Recognition
Rewarding & Recognising Staff
The Trust firmly believes in the importance of ‘Reward and Recognition’ for all of its staff. We firmly believing that reward in the context of the Trust is about more than core pay and conditions, but also about all of the other elements (the ‘Total Reward’) that make up the reward package for working in the Trust. What we're doing
A Terms and Conditions group has been set up to ensure fair consideration and application of the Agenda for Change Terms and Conditions. View the Terms of Reference for this group.
A Reward Strategy Group has been established to ensure that the Trust continues to take a strategic look at reward issues both for AfC staff and for other groups. View the Terms of Reference.
As well as formal reward mechanisms, the Trust firmly believes in education and personal development as an intrinsic element of reward. View our Learning and Development Strategy
The Health and Wellbeing of our staff is also of paramount importance to us.
The Trust is very proud of its staff and their achievements locally and nationally and seeks to recognise this through an annual awards ceremony. This recognises both individual and team efforts in both clinical and service excellence, as well as those with long service within the NHS. Also recognised are those who have achieved educationally throughout the year.
